The flavours of Little Italy are coming to Arnprior later this week.
East Side Mario’s will be opening its newest location at the Quality Inn on the corner of Madawaska Boulevard and Bridge Street on Thursday, Nov. 20 at 11 a.m.
The Elgin Café closed its doors about a month ago at the location to accommodate the change and since then staff have been busy redecorating and preparing to serve up the Italian fare for which the chain is famous.
The new owners Todd and Sally Fletcher already operate East Side Mario’s  locations in Kingston and Belleville as well as the outlet in downtown Pembroke.
The latter location has won awards for its operation, according to Rich Weisz, a company spokesperson.
A special grand opening party will be held at the Arnprior restaurant on Tuesday for invited guests and VIPs; with the public invited to try out the new menu beginning on Thursday for lunch or dinner.
The restaurant will begin serving a breakfast menu the following week, beginning operations at 7 a.m. The closing time will be midnight.
Founded in 1987, East Side Mario’s has 100 locations in Canada and four  in the United States.
